Crowd at Bedminster erupts after Trump praises them for refusing to social distance
The president’s official news conferences at his golf club are White House events paid for by taxpayers

“Donald Trump received loud applause from the members at his private club who had gathered as an audience for his presidential address ( August 7, 2020). Trump was asked why the audience at Bedminster Golf Club was not social distancing, with many seen without masks. The leader of the free world replied that the event — officially announced by the White House — was a political rally and a peaceful protest, and there were exemptions for wearing masks for those two activities.”
He received rousing applause for that statement. And then he referred to “fake news” when he was responding to the reporter posing the question…which drew even greater applause. That was bad enough, but then I was reading some of the tweets that were posted in response to the “mask” argument. This one in particular caught my eye :
It’s very simple!! Where are the dead bodies? Show me the bodies! With the death count what that say it is, every funeral home in the world would be booked up for a year working non stop to burn all those bodies !! Where are the videos of loved ones family’s on social media? With that many people dead social media would be overwhelmed with millions of personal videos of people outraged and ranting over the lose of their family member killed by the government!!! There is NO VIRUS!!!! only the flu stretched and exaggerated to the extreme to keep small minded people scared and bowing to there every command!!! And another thing, a VIRUS CAN NOT !! LIVE WITHOUT A HOST !!! So how does the flu come back every year??? Because the government keeps it alive and infects you people with the so called ” ” FLU VACCINE ” WAKE UP PEOPLE BEFORE IT’S COMPLETELY TO LATE!!!
Although there is not universal consensus regarding where the virus originated, it spread worldwide during 1918-1919. In the United States, it was first identified in military personnel in spring 1918. It is estimated that about 500 million people or one-third of the world’s population became infected with this virus. ( was created by the government for population control ) the government has been playing God from the very beginning!! Do your research bro before you come at me with stupidity..
That’s all I have to say…. what CAN you say???
I have trouble believing that any disease was invented by the government solely as a means of population control. It definitely is an end-result of the process in a pandemic situation. I am just not prone to believing all conspiracy theories.
But by no means are these viral conspiracy theories limited to white Trump supporters. Some African Americans find it hard to let go of these scenarios as well. The difference is that we DO have solid evidence, in many instances, that we WERE targets of biased medical testing in the past. Unlike another theory circulating at the moment, I have no doubt in my mind that Bill Gates is not responsible for the COVID-19 outbreak…
Coronavirus conspiracy video spreads on Instagram among black celebrities
Instagram and Facebook have made a concentrated effort to rid their platforms of false information, but some conspiracy theories have proven hard to stop.

A video pushing the unfounded conspiracy that Bill Gates is responsible for creating the coronavirus has gone viral on Instagram, propelled by some black celebrities including comedians Cedric the Entertainer and D.L. Hughley, and professional fighter Derrick Lewis. This video has been viewed more than 2.2 million times, according to data from CrowdTangle, a social media analysis tool owned by Facebook, which also owns Instagram. The current iteration of the video originated from the account @thefallbackup, a self-described “influential mystic” with 69,500 followers. The video was reposted by 20 verified Instagram users, and more than 50 other users.
“Bill Gates either predicted or planned the coronavirus outbreak,” the text on the video reads, before playing a clip from a 2015 TED Talk in which Gates explains that a highly infectious virus could be more deadly than war.
Cedric the Entertainer posted the video to his Instagram account and wrote, “So they knew!!!”. The video has been viewed 367,000 times since he posted it Thursday . “Watch out for Big Pharma,” he added.
“Hmmmmm….” Hughley wrote next to his post along with an emoji of a face with a monocle.
“Ok this is scary. Looks like someone or some corporations knew this would happen. Coincidence?? I’ll let you guys decide,” wrote Gary Owen, a comedian who once hosted the BET comedy show Comic View.
Requests for comments sent to Owen, Lewis, Hughley and Cedric the Entertainer were not immediately returned.
An Instagram spokesperson said the videos had been sent to its fact-checking partners for review. Like other social media platforms, Instagram was initially flooded by coronavirus posts that pushed conspiracies and false cures. In recent weeks, it has made a concentrated effort to rid its platform of false information. The World Health Organization has called misinformation surrounding the virus an “infordemic.”
Gates has been the target of dozens of swirling conspiracies since news of the outbreak broke in January. The billionaire and philanthropist has been the subject of at least seven different conspiracies debunked by international fact-checkers, according to First Draft, an organization that tracks online misinformation. The most popular conspiracies have claimed that Gates engineered the virus as a form of population control, while others suggested that he is somehow profiting from a vaccine which has yet to be developed. The black community has been specifically targeted by misinformation surrounding the coronavirus, said Shireen Mitchell, a researcher who studies online disinformation and is the founder of the group Stop Online Violence Against Women. Across social media, viral misinformation has spread that black people are immune from the coronavirus because of melanin in their skin (they are not).
Some in the black community may also be specifically susceptible to conspiracies surrounding the coronavirus because of the country’s history of nonconsensual medical experimentation on black people, Mitchell noted. “That’s how disinformation works,” Mitchell said, citing black maternal mortality rates and the 40-year Tuskegee study, in which public health officials in Alabama refused to disclose or treat hundreds of black men with syphilis. “ of truth and layers of disinformation on top. So it seems like you’re hearing the truth, when what you’re doing is manipulating facts and then people don’t know what facts are anymore.“
